 Aim

 Given the increasing diversity of our student population and the constantly changing pattern
 of workand education worldwide, we aim to provide access for every student to effective 
 career education and guidance.

 


  Courses

  In 2010, we offer the following programmes: 

  Year 13

  >>  22 hours - time-tabled compulsory classes.

  >>   Students listen to guest presenters from tertiary providers, StudyLink and complete an "Independent 
         Living" module.

  >>   Individual interviews, scholarships and testimonial help provided.
  >>   Gateway Programme.

  Year 12
  >>   22 hours - time-tabled compulsory classes.
  >>   Individual interviews and guest speakers.
  >>   Students complete three Unit Standards with 7 credits at Level 2.
  >>   Self-management and Employment Option.
  >>   Students study towards the National Certificate of Employment.
  >>   Gateway Programme.

  Year 11
  >>   Students complete a networked Interest Test and attend follow-up seminars on their course of 
         interest.
  ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  Year 10 
  >>   Students complete "The World of Opportunity" module in Social Studies and visit a tertiary provider for
         half the day. 
  ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  Year 9
  >>   "Planning for the Future" workbook is completed in class time.
