Y13 Music
This course offers a range of NCEA Level 3 Music standards which can be selected by students according to their strengths and interests.  Students are able to specialise more than in Level 2, with a focus on practical and/or academic aspects.  All students attempt at least 3 achievement standards from the NCEA Music Studies course.  Many will also gain credits in performance or composition, and other aspects such as arranging, conducting and research.  Note:  Regular attendance at instrumental lessons (voice is an instrument) and a commitment to ongoing participation in official school co-curricular ensembles is a co-requisite.
